Andy Ruiz Jr. is a Mexican-American heavyweight boxer.
Ruiz Jr. has challenged for the world title on two occasions, defeating Anthony Joshua to shock the world in 2019 after losing to Joseph Parker four years earlier.
Having beaten Joshua in New York, Ruiz lost the unified belts to the Briton in a Saudi Arabia rematch six months later.
Since then, Ruiz has struggled with inactivity and most recently labored to a draw with Jarrell Miller in California.
